Working towards a safer environment
The state of the environment is of paramount importance when we recognise that human beings are an integral part of and inextricably linked with our environment. With this fact in mind the NETWORK is committed to creating awareness of environmental factors which may impact adversely on human health.
Electromagnetic field radiation (EMR) is one risk factor linked with a number of serious health conditions.
The NETWORK provides reliable information to create awareness of EMR exposure in the home environment and also advises enquirers to contact their electricity authority for information on EMR. As a result, many people have chosen to make changes to existing facilities and having reduced their exposure to EMR, have subsequently reported benefits in health.
The NETWORK believes that knowledge will empower the community to influence governments and authorities to make appropriate changes to STANDARDS for levels of exposure of EMR and CODES of PRACTICE for industry.
The NETWORK offers support for those people who have developed electro-hypersensitivity (EHS).
The Network Aims
To passively encourage constructive changes concerned with environmental health.
To respond positively to calls for submissions regarding EMR and other public health issues.
To encourage and support all those who have an interest in achieving a healthier electrical environment.
