ELECTRICITY AND YOUR HEALTH
In our environment today electricity is used extensively in the home, workplace and areas of entertainment In the streets are the powerlines delivering this electricity where ever it is required. Society as we know it depends on this form of energy and would not survive without it. Wherever there is electricity there will be found electric and magnetic fields and magnetic field radiation (EMR) which was once believed to be harmless to man. Credible researchers worldwide, now believe that EMR can indeed be harmful to man and say a wide range of diseases, including cancer, are linked to exposure to this artificially generated energy.
Research has found that the stimulation of living systems by electromagnetic fields (EMFs), sometimes termed electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from artificial sources can be both beneficial and harmful. Controlled and specific doses applied by qualified practitioners for a diagnosed complaint can assist in relieving pain. We are told that the medicine of the future will increasingly utilise specific electromagnetic fields, replacing the drugs that are now becoming less effective. Magnetic fields are now used to relieve migraine and depression. At the present time many medical diagnostic tools including those which detect the electrical abnormalities of the heart and brain are essential tools for medical procedures. As with X-rays and with drugs, these benefits may not be without side effects.
In the workplace and the home environment there are ever present, random artificially generated electromagnetic fields, (EMFs) to which we are exposed day and night. Of many various strengths and frequencies these energies have the potential to cause harm to health. Stress induced by EMR has been termed 'subliminal stress', as it is below the level of consciousness for most people. EMR is now linked with increased incidence of many stress related conditions ranging from chronic fatigue and Alzheimer’s Disease to leukemia and other cancers. A large volume of scientific literature exists on the research into the association of ill-health and EMR exposure.
Though there remains some scientific uncertainty as to exactly how EMR exposure can cause ill-health, anecdotal evidence gives a strong indication that many people are adversely affected by their EMR environment. Those people who have taken steps to eliminate or reduce exposure, invariably report improvement in health.

CHEMICALS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS
There is evidence that the effects of electromagnetic fields can mimic the effects of chemicals, can influence the effects of some drugs and interfere with the uptake of medically prescribed drugs. There is no doubt that EMR and toxic chemical exposure combined are reported to form an increased hazard to health. People with chemical sensitivity know that they react more severely to chemical exposure when EMR exposure is unavoidable, and vice versa.
Reduction of chemical exposure is therefore also advised. Careful attention to the ingredients information labels on packaging for the product is necessary so that care can be taken to minimise exposure to ingested and inhaled chemicals. Care also must be taken over sensitivities to additives in food and a wide range of consumer products which 'outgas' chemical vapours, which when inhaled, cause neurological conditions as does the exposure to EMFs.
